OK, it is time to put up or shaddup. Some of the original Iron Blogger crew was all drunk and talking about Ironman CdA in '08, and the time to sign up is coming this Monday.
I don't even know whether I'll survive my first or want to do a second, but I need to know, if I sign up for this one, am I alone or surrounded by the Band of Brothers (and Sisters). Frankly, there are other races I'd rather do, and Mrs. Greyhound is not hip on Idaho, so if not this race, then what? Tell me true and tell me quick. Monday is coming.

No go for me on IMCDA 2008.
I'd like to do canada or Arizona.
Maybe I could do CDA. I definitely want one on my schedule next year!
It took me 34 years to commit to a marriage. Now you want me to commit to an IM? I need to think about this one! :-) Best of luck this weekend at BSLT.
IMKY '09!
Oh, wait. That doesn't answer your question at all.
For what it's worth, my buddy Jodi's up there right now for the race and says it's gorgeous.
I was about to ask the same question. Let me know! I'm currently torn between CdA and LP.
i'm in cda! its absolutely beautiful here. drove the course yesterday and rode the run course. you'd love it.
the water is a bit chilly tho for us southerners! :-)
you don't choose a race.
the race chooses you.
bold has spoken.
You should all come to Canada! Penticton is where it's at!
It is on video, there are a group of folks who raised their glasses and pledge to go to IMCdA'08 - we have it on tape. Drunk or not (they didn't look THAT drunk) a pledge is a pledge. Well, the Bigun has been itching for just the right IM bid, and as Bold so elequently put it, IMCdA'08 has chosen me. But only becasue of the knudging of the tape. And Blink.
ps (yes this is long comment) - last year it took about a month for IMCdA to sell out, not that I'd bet on that this year...
I hear IM Brazil is really nice. If I were going to commit to an IM I'd do it someplace exotic I could really enjoy after the race. That's just my take. It would not likely be a blogger extravaganza but it would be a nice vacation.
mrs. greyhound is not hip to idaho? did she NOT see the pics on my blog? what is wrong with her?
actually, i think that both you and she would be really surprised at cd'a. it's absolutely GOR.G.US. and i'm telling you all again, for the last time... cd'a blows AZ out of the water.
for the spectators, it's an unbelievable event and location. not counting international races, i don't know if there is a more spectator-friendly, and beautiful ironman out there.
I'm in the same boat as you, I haven't even done my first yet and I want to sign up for another! :) I am thinking Lake Placid '08 although am tempted to do a foreign locale...
You're definitely going to want to do another. Trust me.
I wish I could come to Idaho with ya but I can't. It's heartbreaking. Stupid law school... I'm gonna go cry now.
so did you sign up? i'm thinking about it...
Myles is all signed up. How about you? I'm not doing the race but I'll be there is some sort of cheerleading outfit, I promise.
