DAY-UHM!


Daniel Komen runs fastest mile ever on American soil: 3:48.28.

These guys are magnificant.

I tend to think that the mile is the toughest distance to run - no rest, just full speed ahead and try to time the finish so that your last ounce of energy is spent as you cross the finish line; breath haggard and spots bouncing in your eyes.

Un-freakin'-believable! I wish I knew where he got that extra gear.

He would have had a full minute's rest before I finished my fastest-ever mile, and that was over 20 years ago.
