Mojo

You fishy swimmer types, Brett, Mishele, Kahuna, Trisaratops, IronJenny are a mystery to me. I am so jealous of whatever secret mojo allows you to glide in the water. I want to do this. It looks so fluid and beautiful and easy. Sure doesn't feel that way. Maybe Mishele will entrust me with the ways of the force.

Damn...that reach...that glide...that kick....

That looks nothing like me. Sigh. :)

I love watching those vids, though! So much to learn....

May the force be with you!

Spooky. My post for the day is a video of an Australian with Olympic gold. I watched it, the other day, and tried to learn from it.

I like the underwater view, it really helps get a feel for what's going on with "good" swimmers.

I need that secret mojo too! Whose selling it? Does it come as a cream? Or is it a body spray? I don't care - I just need some!

I am driving an hour each way once a week to try and learn that mojo from an Olympic swimmer...I'll let you know if I ever get it...I am starting to doubt it, though.

Goodluck in your IMMoo training!

Ha! I don't belong in with "The Swimmers" believe me! Wait til you see me Saturday... I don't know where my swim went, but it's no longer a part of me. Perhaps someone went back in time and stole it right in the middle of a flipturn? :(

WANTED:
Half the swim MOJO of anyone whose arse isn't barge dragging. Okay I'll settle for 1/4. That would be about 110% more than I presently retain.

You're so right. Swimming is an art form and I don't have the right paintbrush. Thank God paint by numbers still count as art.
