Winning Mullet

The runaway winner in the mullet song lyric contest was Carrie from Tri to Be Funny. I had to include a picture of her hubster, Shawn, given that he probably gave her the answers to the guy songs. He's lucky I didn't put a mullet on him to.

As a result of winning the mullet song lyric contest, Carrie is entitled to choose amongst three fabulous prizes:

1. A gently used Body Glide stick;

2. Pink compression socks; or

3. An itunes gift certificate.

She can claim her prize and make her victory speech via iphone in the comment section.

no one knows where that body glide has been...I hope she picks the socks (are they slightly used too?) or the gift cert.

Congrats to Carrie! Too funny!

Ha! That is great. The smart choice would be the iTunes gift card.

Are pink compression socks seriously available somewhere? You must tell us where.

I can't believe I missed that contest all together because I would have won!

Wow--I'm honored! I would've prepared a speech sooner, but I was in Germany and could barely figure out how to order dinner correctly, let alone write a beautiful acceptance speech for winning the Mullet Contest.

First of all, I'd like to thank God for putting bands like Loverboy, Journey and Night Ranger on this planet. Without them, there would be no laughter or mockery of decades gone by.

I'd also like to thank Hubster Shawn for being almost 8 years older than me and assisting with some of the "not so obvious" lyrics. Helloo--enough of the "Dust in the Wind" references already!

I'd also like to thank Greyhound for sneaking in a few Debbie Gibson references that made me smile and want to listen to my "Out of the Blue" cassette immediately.

As tempting as the used Body Glide is (knowing it has probably rubbed the muscles of Greyhound), I may have to pick the pink compression socks because I can't resist. Itunes will always be available. Pink compressions won't (THANK GOD).
